Sarah Ioannides, Music Director of Symphony Tacoma, conductor, producer and curator, connects with audiences and communities by creating innovative and collaborative orchestral projects and programs that are moving and relevant to today’s society.

Ioannides is recognized as one of the most inspiring and creative conductors today. She is active internationally as a guest conductor with orchestras such as the Tonkünstler, Orchestre Nationale de Lyon, Seattle Symphony (Untitled Series), Florida Orchestra and Quebec City Symphony. Sarah has recorded world premieres with the Royal Philharmonic, the Malmö Symphony and Nordic Chamber Orchestra.

A coach and mentor for many young musicians and conductors, she is Artistic Director of Cascade Conducting and Composing, and coaches for The Curtis Institute of Music’s Mentor Network. Sarah Ioannides is in demand as guest speaker, presenter and conductor for institutions, organizations, conservatories and universities.
